Vaccinations, immunisations, cervical screening, wound management, preventative health care, full health and skin checks, minor procedures, iron infusions, chronic disease management, mental health, workers compensation and third party, health assessments and care plans, general healthcare for all ages.

We have wheelchair access to the surgery.
Test Results
All test results are reviewed by the referring doctor. Patients are required to make a follow-up appointment to discuss results.
Referrals
A consultation is required if you wish to obtain a referral to a specialist. This enables your doctor to provide your specialist with appropriate and up to date medical information. If you require a referral, please book online or phone the practice for an appointment. We send and receive information from other health providers via secure electronic systems or via fax.
Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions may be requested without a doctors appointment, however a private fee of $50.00 will apply. Prescription requests without an appointment are not appropriate if you have not been seen by a doctor recently. All prescription dispensing will be a the discretion of your regular doctor.
State/National Reminder System
Our practice is committed to preventative care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care. If you do not wish to be part of this system please discuss your options with your doctor. This practice communicates primarily via SMS using the Health Engine program.
Transfer of Patient Medical Records
Please be advised a patient health summary will be sent free of charge to the nominated medical centre Should patient complete records to be requested, a processing fee applicable to the size, time and resources used, plus a registered post fee will be charged.
Workers Compensation & Third Party
These consultations will be billed on the day and are the responsibility of the patient until such time as an insurance claim has been approved & details submitted to us. EFTPOS/VISA/MASTERCARD accepted.
Telephone calls
To minimise disruption to patient consultations, messages will be passed on to the Doctor. Naturally, urgent matter will be attended to immediately.
Patient Confidentiality
Our Doctors & Staff take great care to ensure complete patient confidentiality. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. Patient notes will not be released to third parties without written consent from the patient (or guardian). Equal confidentiality applies to both computerised & written records.
Informed Patient Decisions
During patient consultation all health professionals inform patients about the purpose, importance, benefits and risks of proposed investigations, referrals, or treatments. This enables the patient to really understand their condition and how to best manage it. Patients are encouraged to participate in decisions about their healthcare.
Co-ordination of Care
We co-ordinate care for individuals, families and communities identifying relevant services with the local area to enhance patient care.
Home Visits
We ask patients to make every effort to attend the surgery for consultations, however we will visit our regular patients at home wherever possible if their condition prevents them from attending the surgery. Home visits are restricted to 3 km radius of the surgery location.
Care Outside Normal Opening Hours
Our telephone will divert to National Home Doctor Service from 5.30pm weekdays & from 1.00pm on Saturdays for after hours medical care (available from 6.00pm – 8.00am weekdays, from 12.00pm on Saturdays & Sunday 24 hours). Alternatively, call NHDS on 13 SICK or book online.
